The Coyote Ridge Trail is a bit steeper and more windy and it takes you through several wash areas. As we hiked this trail, we were glad we approached it from the Apache Fire Trail instead of the Kisva Trail or Eagles Nest Trail. The approach we took made for an easier downhill hike.
